This is always a little treat for us. We came in today for the first time in a few months and had a stonking breakfast of BLT on sourdough with halloumi (it's not on the menu so you need to ask, but staff happy to prepare) and the kids had buttermilk pancakes with butchers bacon and maple syrup. We had some truly delicious homemade cake to take with us afterwards- the cake was a touch pricey but couldn't argue with the quality :) The service is always fab here, staff are friendly, accommodating, and attentive, and the food is consistently SUPERB (which is why it is hard to get a table in peak times - but because service is so good with food arriving to you quickly after your order, it is usually only a short wait until a table becomes available ) THANK YOU! Had a lovely vegan breakfast here. The vegan breakfast wasn't on the menu, but when asking what vegan options they have, they said they can make the vegetarian breakfast vegan by swapping a few things. One of the staff members even came back over to check my order with me, since the mushrooms are cooked differently depending if it's vegan or not. Great attention to detail. Would go back again.

A family run business serving simple, unpretentious and delicious food. Dan is a talented chef that clearly knows his stuff. Quiche and open face sandwiches are excellent. Their cakes and biscuits are lovely too. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. It’s always busy but good enough to queue.

Never been before, would definitely go again. Our lunch was delicious, ranging from a ham and cheese toastie to a burger and chips. Very fresh, the ham was lovely. The staff very accommodating as there were 5 of us. Very attentive.

Had a wonderful lunch today, all our meals were delightful and the service was so nice. Then we also had desert which was amazing. And we were there for ages chatting and the staff didn’t chase us out. I’d love to go back. An absolute delight.

What a gorgeous place. A lady carried my buggy up the stairs while I carried my elderly dog, and they went to huge trouble to accommodate my gluten free needs. They fried the hash browns separately and made gf sausages to order. All was gorgeous, including the coffee. Thank you so much. I can see why others have said this is the best place in SW for coeliacs. I wished I lived locally, but I'm sure I'll be back anyway.

Lovely service and great food. It’s one of the greatest options to have a good time with friends and taste a great meal. I’ve ordered Eggs Royale and they were absolutely fantastic.
